Now, the movie overall is amazing, characters are well written (Gwen is now my favorite), the animation is just beautiful (even that isn't doing it justice) and the music is great (especially the end credits song and Self Love). However, the story is too bloated and the pacing is very messy. I liked the idea but the execution is a bit of a mixed bag and I liked the simplicity of the first spider verse film. Hopefully the next film, Beyond The Spider-verse, will finish things off in a satisfying way because, there are lots of plot threads to resolve and should fix Miles and Gwen's relationship sometime in the first act. One of the coolest scenes in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse for me is the high-speed chase through the Spider Society headquarters, where Miles Morales defies hundreds of alternate Spider-People to escape. The animation, humor, and emotional stakes collide in this breathtaking sequence.

MY RATINGS:
Story: 8/10
Animation Quality: 8/10
Voice Acting & Sound Design: 8/10
Character Development: 8/10
Emotional Impact & Rewatchability: 8/10
Overall: 8/10
