I was starting to lose hope after Pixar failures in recent years, but Inside Out 2 changed that. Of course it is not a perfect movie but it was still a very fun time! I like how these mature themes can resonate with an older audience while still making it understandable for younger audience, which is a formula I have missed for a while. You can tell where all these new emotions are coming from. I also like how Anxiety slowly realizes that she is being too hard on Riley near the end of the movie. Also like that this doesn't end on a very cliche way and is a nice and sweet way. My favorite scene was when the new emotion Ennui takes over Riley’s control panel and slouches into a chaise lounge, refusing to do anything — even blinking — while the other emotions panic.
