Ponyo

It's just cute...that's it! Well, that's not all but it's such a nice film to watch when you had a long day, the designs are really cute, the animation is wonderful (but you already knew that), and the relationship between Sosuke and Ponyo's relationship is adorable.

But I do believe that the movie would be better off being a slice-of-life then having a plot. And I don't mean I didn't like the conflict between Ponyo being a human, no I mean I think it shouldn't have felt that grand in a sense. Everthing being so abmitious makes it feel overwhelming for the type of film Ponyo intends to be. So yeah, Ponyo is good for when your maybe tired or want to watch for lunch.
